Good Morning! And what a beautiful morning it is here. The ever longing Sun is shining brightly this morning and really makes me feel cheerful and full of energy. It is simply amazing how the sun will uplift everyone's spirits especially this time of year when it is more dreary and gray than bright and sunny.
I have started my painting project in the house and want to show you my entryway.
What do you think? I know it is a pretty dark wall but I love it! It is a dark teal/gray color that matches my rug wonderfully. Here is another shot:
This angle you can see it a little better - but doesn't it make my closet doors pop!! Wow it looks better than I could have imagined. So I am on to the next dark walls and they will be in my Livingroom. I will take a before picture first so you can see that and then the finished project. I am doing my dark walls first and then I am going to do my lighter walls that way if I don't like my dark walls I can just go over them with the lighter color. But - I am loving this one so I don't think I will be painting over them!
While I am downloading these pictures for the blog I am cutting out Subtraction Flash Cards for Weston. We had his conference with his 2nd Grade teacher, Mr. Abel, last night and we need to do a little work on subtraction. He had a very good conference though. His reading has improved already above what they had expected him to do by the end of the year. That's my Boy!! We also need to work a little on telling time. With all the digital clocks now days I had not even thought about the fact that he was having a hard time with a face clock. So I am on that too and I have printed worksheets off the internet for him to work on telling time. It really is amazing what a person can pull off the internet these days. I just love that!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful sun shiny day!
Everyday's a Blessing!
